We understand that not everyone meets standard lending criteria. For clients whose only income is from a WINZ benefit, or for those with a below-average credit score, there are two options available to help support your finance application:
You can apply with a guarantor who is employed full-time and has a minimum credit score of 600.
You can apply with one or more co-borrowers (up to three people in total). Ideally, at least one applicant should be working full-time to strengthen the application.
The Small Cabin is compact and fits easily into tight backyards or narrow sites. It’s fully insulated, well-built, and works great as a sleepout, guest room, or small studio. Big windows make it feel bright and open.
You need a flat, clear site with enough access for a truck and HIAB crane. The ground must be level. We recommend timber piles or pads. Check that access is wide and clear for delivery.
Yes. It comes with a builder’s warranty covering the structure and workmanship. All electrical work is done by licensed electricians and signed off to NZ standards. Materials are weather-resistant and made to last.
Yes. The layout includes a partition wall that creates a separate sleeping area, offering more privacy than a standard open-plan cabin.
Yes. The Small Cabin can be relocated if needed. We recommend choosing the trailer base option for easier transport. Just make sure the new site has the right access for delivery.
